Jun 22 2008 --- Wine Network @ Dempsy


sat nite ... supposed to meet yaya together with jas & ed ... hmmm ... the previous recce at east coast wasnt as good as it seems to be and so ... we decided that dempsy was still a better choice ... went meet ed & jas at PS ard 8.30pm ... the timing that they told me and well ... they dragged lor ... by the time i reach there on time ... they still having dinner so spent some time loitering PS ... supposed to meet yaya at 9.30pm but erm ... they thot she always late de ... so well ... we took our time BUT yaya called at 9.40pm saying she reached liao hahaha ... okie ... i guess there are exceptions at times =/ not a very long drive to dempsy and hmmm ... passed by Oosh ... kekeke ... nice time there that time during CW bday ~


thats wine network ... been there previously quite a few times in the past few years ... in fact thats probably the only place i went at dempsy prior to the Oosh outing this year ... quite a nice place to chill out and not that crowded also ... choice of seats inside is good with the aircon ... setting wise is not that cosy but still not that bad actually ... this is our table with the 2 bottles that we had ... didnt drink alot ... 5 paxs drink 2 bottles quite ok rite ? really is chill nia lor XD






this pic was taken on my way out when we were leaving so it was kinda bright coz on light liao ... they close ard 1am i think ... kinda early =/ the below is their so called cellar which feature a not too small array of wine which we can walk ard to choose from ... last time was really a selection ard the perimeter of the the place but i guess it was reduced to a concentrated area after the shoplifting problem got too serious and often =.=





that the 2 bottles that we had ... both merlot ... the one on the right is nicer ... hmmm ... dun start asking me wat is merlot ... shiraz ... carbernet of sort ... i probably cannot answer but well ... it doesnt hurt to act class and drink abit of red wine over the conventional beer n martell rite ?? anyway i like the one on the right better ... no reasons ... juz like the taste better i guess =Pp





their kitchen close earlier than the place itself which is quite the norm for most places ... hmmm ... be prepared to feel foodless by 11.30pm lah ... or u can always order alot then put there slowly eat kekeke ... do try the sausage there ... sliced cheesed one ... forgot the name liao but its really nice !~ hmmm ... below is the only food which i didnt knew abt previously ... maybe is alot of pple commented that the kitchen closed too early and so in a bid to pacify the customers ... they intro the biscuits with cheese cubes !~ okie ... u may be wondering wat in the world is cheese doing with drinking red wine sia ... taste dun match ... feel dun match ... but well ... its still popular lor !~! not that it is the only available food at that time lah ... but maybe coz its FREEEEEE .... okie ... magical word that makes anything that doesnt match seems fine hahaha ... okie ... we had 2 servings of that =Pp ... in fact we didnt know if we had to pay for it and we were there discussing if we shld ask them whether if its free first before asking for another serving ... in the end we think quite malu to ask ... so eddie actually went up to the guy and say yaya sot tio the cheese and ask whether we can hav another serving XD the waiter juz laughed it off and say he will giv us more hahaha ... so nice rite ?? kekeke ...
