For a very long while i thought i will be in the previous industry as long as i need a job.. getting wearier by the day until Jan when I finally decided to throw in the towel after being the last man standing in the team.. perhaps a totally new team of full fresh blood will be good~ i took a 7 mths sab from work after almost 20 years of working life knowing i kinda live from hands to mouth with all the commitments.. kinda lucky that i can afford a break from work and just focus on other things like family even if it means running errands or med appts.. it was quite fulfilling and i saw the family much more during the break~
I know i cannot afford to stay jobless forever so after 7 mths of sab i changed an industry through a stroke of luck and fate and tadah~ today marks my 3 mths as IT helpdesk consultant~ quite glad actually coz i know it isnt easy for my age to be changing industry and even if u r willing to learn it doesnt mean employer will believe and giv u the chance PLUS not getting a huge cut~
Its really been long since i feel like going to work is not dreadful so i guess its really a blessing to me~ just hope i stay here till retire!!!
