*yawnz* i woke kinda early ... hmm ... first thing i saw was someone msn-ing me at 2.28am ... then sms at 3.01am ... still awake sia ... hOr !!!! =Pp
ard noon ... hijacked the train at boon keng ... made our way to dhoby ghaut ... hmm ... first task on the list is to get tics for $ no enuff 2 ... hmmm ... bought for 1.15pm de ... surprisingly that timing is quite cold sia ... compared to the next slot at 2pm de ... it is relatively deserted lah ... good also lah ... at least dun need to end up with the seats thats like first few rows from the screen~ okie ... the plus point is that UOB card holders gets it at $8 per tics ... hmmm ... not a bad deal that cathay has lah ... plus the seats are more comfy also ~
lunchie ~ okie ... have only like 45mins for it though ... for a change ... nono ... not a change of food but organiser ... normally when going out with pple i would often ... kk ... not often ... not seldom too lah ... be the one planning activities and busying myself ... this time round ... for a change i can take the back seat and enjoy wat is being planned ~ okie ... thats lunch below ... astons specialities ... hmmm ... they served relatively nice western cusine ... with reasonable price ... in the heart of cathay building ~ nice choice lah ... near the cinema also then no need rush ... not much time left to begin with also =Pp the main course comes with 2 sides free so there a variety to choose from ... we gave the drinks a miss since they say their dispenser is spoilt and hmmm ... okie ~ food food ~
thats the soup ... erm .. mushroom i think ... the bread quite nice too ~
thats bbq chicken with fries and potato salad ... the bbq sauce taste like mac de bbq sauce wor hahahaha ...
thats chicken & sausage combo with baked potato and coleslaw ...
the meal was quite nice and it came up to only $23 i think ... didnt see the receipt clearly also ... but erm ... not a bad price for town area isnt it kekeke XD the chicken & sausage is nicer actually ... the chicken is black pepper de ... quite nice ~ the sausage mah ... i took 3 of it ... nice also ~ maybe juz hot hot come out ba ... do giv it a try ~ the food took a while to be served and we finished it almost just in time ba ... off to movie ~ and *ahem* actually cathay quite on time sia ... the show was showing when we entered ~ ok lah ... shld be didnt miss much ba ~
as usual its the crappy jack neo show with comedian nature in it ... certain parts of it reflects the way of life ... true hard facts of sg ... and of coz ... there is touching scences also ... someone almost teared lor blehz ... hmmm ... but come to think of it ... it really touches heart of many since i guess it is common to land in situations to choose between 2 loved ones ... not necessary between life and death ... even for situations like a quarrel and the guy deciding to side mother or wife ... a child deciding to side father or mother ... a child deciding to strain family ties for his/her other half or not ... hmmm ... we do face tough choices in life and sometimes the paradox of it is that we always laugh at the actor/actress for not being able to make a simple and obvious decision but end up we realise how hard it is when we are faced with it ourselves ... okie ... stop liao ... this is supposed to be happy post ~!~!~! ok lah ... compared to $ no enuff part 1 ... i think i enjoyed part 1 storyline more ... more realistic ... or maybe the trend was new then ba ...
okie ... the organiser led the way to the next destination ... vivocity ~ okie ... the agenda is to watch movie ... hahaha ... ya ... juz finished 1 nia i know ... but special abitbit mah ... wanted to catch Art of Devil part 3 ... watched part 1 & 2 and well .. its grossingly nice ... so thats part 3 ... hmmm ... given the timing and location ... okie ... not surprisingly that it was almost full house but the screen showed ok ... queued and hmmm ... first 2 rows from the screen ... wat the ... erm ... well ... not gonna risk a stiff neck for the show lor ... we abort the plan and spent some time bickering whose fault it is *ahem*~ no movie timing suited our schedule so it walking ard time ~ walked aimlessly crapping while looking out for interesting things to see look play ... past by ben & jerrys and *slurp* nice nice ice cream ~ that was put into plan well it remained just a plan actually ... we were walking ard looking for a buffet outlet called carnivorous and erm ... we wanted to find it before settling for ice cream ... some hapharzard change and we wanted to look for ATM instead since the outlet seems to be nowhere in sight ... the irony of it was ... while looking for the ATM we bumped into the shop !!!! and then we didnt manage to find the ATM T_T hahahaha ... anyway decided to go ATM at harbourfront since its location is known ~ and well ... clearly forgot about our ben & jerry ~ after ATM-ing the ice cream wasnt recalled while we walked ard harboufront ... even till we walked the mini pasar malam at the lobby area ... even till we decided to slowly make our way to next destination ... then we saw the shop below ... new zealand natural ~ oops ... we stood a while in front of it deliberating if we shld walk back to ben & jerry ... ahem ... not logical to do so ~ settled for this ~
thats the flavour we had ... mango and raspberry ... tell u ... the waffle cost additional $1 and its erm ... not nice ... abit bitter somemore ... hmmm ... we finish the ice cream leaving the waffle ... wonder if can wash and get a refund ?? O.o hahaha ... no snatching this time ... we tested both and each like a flavour ~ its into the hot sun without shelter while making the way to next destination ... ok lah ... beats raining lor =Pp
the final destination of the day ... my first time there too ... its like maybe 15 mins walk from harbourfront ... along the way you will see nice nice condo blocks with passageway that is filled on both sides with 天堂鸟 ... then got view of sea that oversees the cablecar ~ by the seaview is constant wind blowing and it is quite a refreshing experience ... its akin to wind at bedok jetty minus the salty and sticky feel that is ... spent some time talking n crapping since it was early and hmmm ... the 15 mins walk prehaps took like more than half an hr maybe ?? okie ... thats marina at keppel bay ~ a place where private yatch are parked i think ~
those are the various places that look normal in the day and looked different at night ... some things really have to see it LIVE ... the pics i took with my phone doesnt do them much justice ... the lighting actually changes colours at interval too ... red green blue purple etc ... hmmm ... quite a sight to see it ... especially the bridge which is quite gigantic and the colour change is quite a nice one to stare at ... some camwhoring session followed before we had enuff and trekked back to harbourfront~ hmmm ... somehow the journey back seems much longer than when i was walking in ... somehow ... it juz seems long ... ok lah ... the good part is that it is cooler at night ... hmmmm ... next time go there shld find transport ... okok ... put into plan as usual =Pp
